Hi everyone,
I’m very sorry for not updating our posts but I’m not the best on computers
Weather here lately has been up and down but had some lovely spells so don’t let the weather keep you away from our beautiful village.
Remember included in your room is a special breakfast cooked by our chef Eddie (my dad) and we also do evening meals on request but I highly recommend the Devonshire and the Charles Cotton for meals if you fancy eatting out.

A warm hello to all,

It’s April and already we are experiencing the glorious sunshine! Who needs to go abroad when we have such glorious weather, beautiful green hills and the traditional British country pubs of Derbyshire.

Please come and spend the week or just a weekend with us. We guarantee you will come back year upon year.

Sadly, Cheese production has ceased in Hartington this year (2009) after 140 years of cheese production in this village but you will be happy to know that the ‘Old Cheese Shop’ at the centre of the village is still in business.
